In 2006, it participated in the formulation of the definition of critical illness which applicable to the PRC insurance market and the Rules for Use of Definitions of Illness in Critical Illness Insurance, which has become the first operation guideline for critical illness in the PRC insurance industry. In 2013, it pioneered the formulation of the first China Life Insurance Experienced Incidence Rate Table of Critical Illness. In 2019, it continued to be responsible for coordinating the amendment of the  definitions of critical illness and incidence rate.
